My name is Jesalynn, and I am a junior at Howard University majoring in Business Management. Howard has truly become my home away from home, and I am deeply committed to excelling in the School of Business as I work toward my dream of becoming a real estate agent. Unfortunately, a recent increase in tuition—without additional financial aid—has put my education at risk. This unexpected challenge, combined with difficulties finding stable housing that forced me to take a semester off in Spring 2025, has made it even more important for me to seek support from my community.

Throughout my journey, my uncle and godmother have been my biggest supporters, encouraging me to keep going even when things got tough. Their belief in me has helped me overcome setbacks and stay focused on my goals. I am determined to return to Howard, complete my degree, and become the first HBCU graduate in my family. With your support, I can continue my education, pursue my passion for real estate, and one day give back to others facing similar challenges.
