Help Jhe Get a Life-Saving Kidney Transplant

My brother has always been the strong one. The one who makes sure there’s food on the table and laughter at home. But in early March 2024, he started feeling unusually tired. His feet would swell, and he had trouble sleeping. At first, we thought it was stress or fatigue. We never imagined that the cause was something much more serious.

After several tests, we got the news: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). His kidneys were no longer functioning properly. Suddenly, our world stopped.

He started hemodialysis right away, three times a week, four hours per session. That means his weeks are now spent mostly in hospitals, sitting still while a machine cleans his blood. He comes home drained and tired, and it breaks our hearts to see him like this. Still, he tries to smile, because that’s the kind of man he is.

But dialysis isn’t a cure, it’s only keeping him alive, not helping him live.
What he needs is a kidney transplant.

We’ve spoken with doctors, looked at options here and abroad, and we’re now working to arrange the transplant. But as many of you might know, transplant costs are overwhelming, especially when factoring in pre-surgery tests, hospital stays, surgery fees, medications, donor screening, and post-surgery care.

That’s why we’re here. We need your help to give my brother a second chance.
A chance to live without being tied to a machine.
A chance to travel like he’s always wanted.
A chance to see his children grow, and to grow old beside the people he loves.

We’re currently looking at options for a transplant in India, as we were referred by people who’ve had successful surgeries there at a more affordable cost. We’ve started gathering the required medical records and are in contact with a transplant coordinator.

Our estimated goal is $20,000 to cover everything: screening, surgery, travel, medications, and recovery.

If you’ve read this far, thank you.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
And if you’re not able to give, a simple share of this fundraiser means so much to us.

My brother has always been the giver. This time, we’re hoping others can give back to him..
