Hello family, friends, colleagues, and to those we don't personally know.

First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who has congratulated us on our matrimony. Your support and love that you poured for both of us have not gone unnoticed. Secondly, I appreciate everyone who has inquired about a wedding registry; however, we have too much stuff together and are not in need of anything in particular. Instead of doing a wedding registry, we are kindly asking for donations towards our honeymoon in Hawaii, which is a dream of ours to have a long overdue escape to paradise.

For those who don't know us personally, our names are Jerson and Destin. We both have a powerful love story to tell. We met 5 years ago, and we initially knew there was a spark between us; however during that time, we lost touch due to life's circumstances. We both have been burned by previous relationships of our past, and we were both on the verge of giving up on love until we reconnected last year and realized that what was missing all along was right in front of us.

In the spirit of the giving holiday season, we’re asking for your support to help make a long-awaited honeymoon possible for someone who has endured more heartbreak and hardship than most can imagine. After losing his identical twin brother, being illegally fired from his job for having HIV, and continuing to navigate life while living with HIV, Destin has never stopped hoping for a future filled with love and joy. Against all odds, he finally found me; a partner who brings him the peace, care, and happiness that he deserves.
