A POSITIVE UPDATE!

I just got home from the emergency vet and we are extremely lucky. Jersey has a severe hip injury that will take about 6 weeks of rest to heal. Obviously this is not ideal, but 6 hours ago I thought it was a cracked spine, with the possibility of having to put down my best friend on the planet. With no fractured or broken bones, Im feeling confident that my girl will be back to normal in no time.

I am also blown away by how many people have donated to the go fund me. It truly means so much that people were willing to help out so quickly, and we’ve already almost hit the goal. Fortunately - it seems like the only expenses are going to be the emergency exam, X-Rays and medications, and at the moment we do not think surgery will be necessary.

Jersey has unfortunately suffered a freak accident at the park. She slipped while running and either slipped a disk or broke her leg (this will be updated as we find more).

For those who don’t know her, Jersey is a magical dog who has put a smile on 100s if not 1000s of peoples’ faces, and at only 7 years old, she still has some magic to spread.

Any help is incredibly appreciated.
