Help Jerry's Wife in Her Medical Crisis

HI, My name is Jerry. I am actually creating this for my wife, well, our family. Until recently, my wife was working as an RN with a salary that kept us comfortable, along with my income as well. Unfortunately, my wife is sick, very sick and the several physicians, specialists, teams of doctors that we have been out to see, long stays at hospitals, scans, bloodwork, surgical procedures, biopsies (liver and bone marrow (several times), etc. Between UC health, Cleveland Clinic, OHC, etc... not one has been able to give us a straight answer, aside from, her life is going to be cut short and our focus needs to be quality and not quantity. She has been told 2 years related to her autoimmune pantocytopenia, autoimmune hepatitis with cirrhosis (end stage liver disease) and even though she was approved for the transplant, they feel "the risk outweighs the benefit" She was just in ICU for a splenic infarct which caused her more pain than I think I have ever seen. She was in and out of lucidity, fevers, IV medication, one after another, with pain medication every 2 hours. Doctor after doctor telling us the same thing we have heard time and time again... "we don't understand why this is happening and nothing we throw at it is helping." She has had blood transfusions several times, Leukine and neupogen to try to boost her immune system, nothing worked. She had to go on leave from work due to this last stent in the hospital and now no one wants her to go back to work. She wants to work because she worries so much about bills and now Christmas, but all her doctor advise, highly, against it and tell her any infection, at this point, would likely kill her. She has been an RN since 2016 and in the medical field since 1999. She loves what she does and this is killing her. She keeps saying that she is a burden and she hates seeing our family that we worked so hard on start to fall apart. She nor I have ever asked for any help, anything like this, ever. I promise, I hate asking for this help and I know it's a big ask. Anything will help, but she can't go back to work. She has applied for disability and every resource available, but, of course, those things take time (lots of time in some cases.) The love of my life is dying and most days consist of her laying in bed having a hard time doing anything. I hate to watch this and want to help, but my paycheck is just not enough to cover everything. Our families do everything they can and we couldn't have gotten where we are today without their love and support.

If anyone has any questions, wants proof of any of these medical conditions, procedures, labwork, etc. I am more than happy to provide it, just in a private message. I know that people scam, as we have been victims of scams ourselves. So, proof is not a problem at all. We appreciate anything that can be donated, and could never thank you enough. I will not sit here and try to convince you that we are the most well deserving, perfect people, but we are good people. My wife didn't deserve this and watching her heart break over losing a career she worked so hard to get, it crushing me, even worse, is watching my wife suffer through all of this and I can't help her.

She has raised 4 children on her own and now is a Gigi to a boy and a girl that she loves so much it's so beautiful to just watch her give up every bit of energy to those babies. If you know her, you have seen it.
