Help Jerry with Medical Debt

Hello, my name is Erin and I am trying to raise money for a dear friend who is struggling to payoff medical bills.

Jerri is a self-employed small business owner, who has suffered multiple health issues over the course of the last two years, one of which was a heart attack. Since she is self-employed, she was unable to afford health insurance and accrued thousands in bills. Jerri has been consistently making $200 monthly payments toward her medical bills, but was still turned over to a collection agency. In an attempt to offset these bills, Jerri has sold some personal belongings and has also added extra days to her work schedule in an effort to pick up more hours. As a friend and employee, I see the toll this is taking on her both mentally and physically.

Jerri owes over $4,000 in medical bills. We are trying to raise $10,000 to enable her to pay off her medical debts, other related debt, and to provide a small buffer for recurring medical needs.

Jerri is extremely hardworking, but also very giving of her time and help. She regularly volunteers at the local animal shelter and several other charities. She is also extremely active in her grandkids’ lives.
