Help Jerry While He Fights Cancer

As most of you know my dad, Jerry Schneider, has been diagnosed with lung and gastoesophageal cancer. He began his chemotherapy treatments this past week and will continue until the cancer in his esophagus has shrunk enough to undergo surgery. The surgeon is hopeful for September. His medical team is at The University of Chicago medical center and he will have surgery and other follow up appointments there. He is having chemotherapy here in Champaign. If you have followed his story so far via mom's Facebook page, it seems to be one thing after another for him medically and them financially. Yesterday, not only did he have his toe infection addressed, but they also had to replace their refrigerator. Our concern and the reason I am asking for help is for their finances. The incidentals are adding up already and with upcoming trips to Chicago and staying up there during his surgery, they are worried that their resources will be stretched too far. We also have not received any mediacl bills yet. The last thing they need is more stress on top of everything else happening. So, we are just asking if you could help them out with a small donation just to help them through this time so they can make ends meet. Any small amount will be helpful.
