Help Jerry Smith During Double Lung Transplant Recovery

My uncle, Jerry Smith, was diagnosed with a

lung disease prior to battling an extended fight with COVID in November 2020. Since then, he has had to go on disability and deal with deteriorating lungs and numerous hospital bills.

He and my aunt Mona made the trip to Vanderbilt Hospital on August 25th for consultation, and he was admitted on the 27th to undergo numerous rounds of testing as his window for the lung transplant was quickly closing.

On September 10th, 2024, he got the call that there were a pair of lungs that matched!

He, is currently undergoing a double lung transplant as of today, September 11th, 2024. Once the surgery is complete, he and my aunt Mona will have to stay in Vanderbilt for 3+ months for his recovery period. It will be a major financial strain on the family to cover basic expenses while there. Anything will help and will be most appreciated!
