Jerry Smiley is an inspiring example of a man who continually pushes himself to be better, help others, and do more for his community. At Gathering Industries, we are honored to work with and learn from him everyday--he reminds us that everyone has the potential to overcome both bad circumstances and their own bad choices, but no one can do that work alone.

As Jerry moves forward with his life, he finds himself in need of financial support to take care of a longstanding issue with his sinuses -- including a deviated septum -- that impacts almost every aspect of his life, from speaking to breathing and sleeping, and requires surgery. We have worked with his doctors and they are willing to waive their fees, but before he can move forward with the procedure, he needs $4,500 for the costs that his medical team cannot waive, such as the cost of the surgical suite, medications, etc. Your support is essential to helping him meet this need.
