Help Jerry Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my 79-year-old uncle, Jerry Pepi — my father’s twin brother — who experienced an unimaginable tragedy last night - 6/28/25.

Jerry’s home of over 50 years was completely destroyed in a devastating fire. Not only was the structure lost, but every single one of his possessions — a lifetime of memories, family photos, keepsakes, and personal belongings — went up in flames. To make matters worse, his car, which was parked alongside the house, was also destroyed in the blaze, melted beyond recognition.

Jerry, a proud and humble man, has always lived simply and independently. Now, with nothing left but the clothes he escaped in, he faces the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch at nearly 80 years old.

We’re creating this GoFundMe to ask for your support in helping Jerry get back on his feet. Funds raised will go directly toward temporary housing, basic necessities, transportation, and eventually rebuilding a safe place for him to call home again.
