Hello my dear friends, fans and family - It is humbling to admit need. But today I find myself in that place. In these times when the skyrocketing cost of living seems to be making it more difficult for most of us to live on a daily basis, many of us are facing the harsh reality of how to survive. I am one of them.

I usually put off needs that aren't that pressing, those that can be deferred until they become a priority. But now I'm facing a double whammy that I cannot ignore. A little over a week ago, I noticed that my refrigerator seemed like it wasn't cooling/freezing as efficiently as it should. I scheduled a service technician to come out the following day to figure out what the problem was. He was able to replace a capacitor and add a little freon, and the 16-year-old fridge resumed its humming, cooling and freezing. Last night however, I noticed the temperature of the fridge was once again not cooling properly. This morning, I called the repair company and scheduled a return visit to address the same issue as before. They will be here tomorrow morning. The news I got from the tech last time was that the compressor wasn't functioning as well as it should. But he said that he would recommend buying a new fridge instead of replacing the expensive compressor. So, I'm probably currently at that point now.

On top of a non-functioning refrigerator/freezer, I have been hit with an almost $700 increase in my property taxes, putting them well over $2600. Fortunately, there is a 5-month window that these can be paid (starting this month) without any penalties.

Unfortunately, I find no other option right now than to start a GoFundMe appeal for a new refrigerator and to help pay for my property taxes. As much as I dislike being in need, it is my current reality. May God richly bless each and every one of you. Grace, Mercy, and Much Love, Jerry❤️
