Julia Gantt is an energetic and vivacious woman who is passionate about animals.  She is veteran of both the U.S.  Army and U.S.  Air Force.  She and her partner, Jerry Downs, have been building their dream home, a renovated ranch house in Southern Arizona.

In May 2018, Julia suffered a fall at home that injured her face and fractured her neck.  After two surgeries and five weeks in the hospital, she is making progress and is now in rehabilitation facility.  However, her injury left her a quadriplegic in need of more surgery, rehabilitation, and extensive care.

Prior to her injury, Julia and Jerry were spending every evening and weekend for the past two years renovating the house in the desert.  When he is not at work or spending time with Julia, Jerry continues to renovate the ranch house, now with the added objective of making the home comfortable and accessible when Julia’s can return home.

Jerry and Julia have great faith that the Lord has a plan for them and that God gives us only challenges that we are capable of meeting.  But their challenges are great and your financial support would be a welcome boost to their efforts and their spirits.  Among the things they need are an accessible shower and a vehicle to transport Julia and her support equipment.
