IMPORTANT UPDATE: It's with a heavy heart that I write this. I just found out from Jasmine that her father-in-law, Jerry Sr., passed away today, November 11, 2024.

We are reaching out with a heavy heart to share the struggles of our beloved family member, Jerry D. Branch Jr., and his dedicated wife, Jasmin Sotomayor. For years, Jerry Jr. has been the cornerstone of their family, tirelessly working as a truck driver to support his household, including his completely disabled father who depends entirely on them for care.

Tragically, Jerry's life took a sudden turn when he recently suffered a seizure. The consequences were immediate and severe: his medical condition was reported to the DMV, leading to a restriction on his driver’s license. Without the ability to drive, Jerry cannot work, stripping him of his ability to provide for his family during these trying times.

For the next six months, Jerry must be under constant medical supervision before he can be reevaluated for his driving capabilities. This period poses a significant financial burden on Jerry and Jasmin, as they navigate daily living expenses and medical costs without his income.

We are creating this fundraiser to offer a lifeline to Jerry, Jasmin, and Jerry's father during this critical and challenging period. Any amount that you can donate will go directly towards helping them manage their immediate needs and hopefully, bring a little stability back into their lives.
