If you’ve had the privilege of knowing Jerry, you know that he is pure light in human form. As an addictions counselor and Director of a Batterer Intervention Program, Jerry has dedicated his life to walking alongside others in their healing journeys. He is a tireless advocate, a loyal friend, a mentor, and a true champion for change in his community- not to mention a dog lover of the highest order.

Recently, Jerry began experiencing changes in his vision. After seeking medical attention, doctors discovered a 2 cm mass in the center of his brain. On top of this frightening diagnosis, Jerry’s ongoing battle with Crohn’s disease has intensified, leading to serious complications including frequent falls and difficulty walking.

In the face of this, Jerry has remained as selfless as ever. Just before his diagnosis, he poured his heart and remaining resources into launching his own agency, a long-held dream to better serve those in need. But because of this courageous leap, Jerry now faces his health crisis and precarious surgery with no financial cushion.
