My name is Ashley Fox, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my grandfather, Jerry—an incredible man who is now navigating life after the heartbreaking loss of his wife of 45 years, my sweet grandmother, Rhonda Guin.

Rhonda was the heart and soul of our family. She was gentle, strong, endlessly kind, and the love she shared with my grandfather was the kind that most people only dream of. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion. Losing her has left a hole in all of our hearts—but for Grandpa Jerry, it’s as if half of him is gone.

He’s doing his best to stay strong, but the truth is, he’s overwhelmed. Not just with grief, but with the harsh reality of life without his partner—emotionally and financially. With only a fixed income to rely on and no life insurance to help with the costs of Rhonda’s cremation, he’s now facing a mountain of unexpected expenses alone. Rent, groceries, utilities, medical needs—it’s all become too much.

He would never ask for help himself—he’s always been the one to give, to serve, to love without expecting anything in return. But right now, he needs help. And I’m hoping that together, we can lift some of this weight off his shoulders and remind him he’s not alone.
