Hi, my name is Jerry Grandi and I'm raising funds to help cover basic living expenses while I recover from knee surgery scheduled for January 28, 2026.

I'm self-employed, which means that when I'm unable to work, there is no paid time off or sick leave. Following surgery my doctor has advised me that I'll be unable to work while I recover and complete physical therapy.

I'm hoping to raise $18,000 which will help cover essential expenses that recovery period including:

Rent and utilities

Groceries and daily necessities

Transportation to medical and physical therapy appointments

Other recovery-related costs while I'm unable to earn income

This surgery is necessary so I can heal properly and return to work safely, but being without income for two months creates a financial gap I can't manage alone. Any amount -no matter the size-would truly help relieve the stress during recovery and allow me to focus on healing.
