I am getting ready to graduate from Georgia State University with my Bachelors in Social Work, and I am excited to begin my Masters in Social Work program this June. This is a dream I have been working toward for almost 30 years, and I am so grateful for the support of my family and friends who have helped me reach this milestone.

As I prepare for this next chapter, I am hoping to raise money through graduation gifts to help with my financial needs. My program starts in June, which means it is still considered part of this academic year, and my financial aid opportunities are limited until the next school year begins in August. In addition, my internship requirements will increase from 16 to 20 hours per week. While most internships now provide a stipend, that stipend is usually not paid until the end of the semester. This makes covering tuition and basic living expenses especially challenging during this transition period.
