Help Jerry beat Covid
Donation protected
My Uncle Jerry Lamb was hospitalized on 11/30 in Detroit, Michigan for respiratory distress. He tested positive for Covid and underwent 22 days on a ventilator in a medically induced coma. He was moved from the ICU on December 24 and remains in intermediate care at Beaumont Wayne Hospital. He has a long road ahead, even when he gets moved to a rehabilitation center. He is currently requiring dialysis as his kidney function hasn’t improved. Due to the side effects of Covid or possibly a stroke, his right side is very weak and limited. He is still unable to stand and until just today required a feeding tube for nourishment. We don’t know when he’ll be able to return to work as an electrician. Our hope is that we can provide some financial relief: for insurance premiums, the cost of healthcare and daily living expenses; and possibly means to travel back here to Texas to be with family once he’s better. We appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
