Help Jerry and Family with Medical and Living Expenses
Donation protected
I'm asking for help with normal life expenses as my husband is battling Head and Neck Cancer. He is a an Army Veteran, a Forward Observer who left the Army after 4 years, so he does not receive VA benefits. We have just completed 7 weeks of radiation and 6 weeks of chemotherapy. Docs never could find a point of origin, so his entire neck, mouth, nasal and esophagus areas were targeted. He is on a feeding tube here at home, where I syringe feed for all his nutritional needs, for at least the next 6 weeks. Jerry has FMLA and will be receiving 65% of his normal check. His normal pay is $21 an hour. I work for a very small company and do not have FMLA as an option. I am being allowed to work from home currently at $20..65 an hour. We do not live an extravagant life by any means. We used to go out to dinner with the kids once a month. We are getting behind on monthly bills and paying off our two credit cards. One has a $5000 limit, the other $1800. We were going to get them paid off this summer, instead of taking the kids on a modest family vacation. Now medical bills from pathology, Imaging surgical, cancer center etc. are all coming due. I'm not proud to be asking for help, I am the only family he has. Thank you..
