This is not easy to do as my parents have never been ones to ask for help, so this is why I am doing this for them. They are in a time they need more help than ever before.

Many of you know my dad, Jerry. He has always been the one to help anyone out with mechanical work or any project he could do. He has always been the provider for the family, working long hours as a maintenance man.

Things suddenly changed on November 23rd; he had a major stroke. He was flown to Harborview Medical Center where he is in the ICU. My dad has been through a lot in the last 15 years. From a heart attack that he recovered from, to in the last 5 years beating 2 kinds of cancer.

They will have bills piling up and need help finishing their house. They gutted their house, and my mom and dad were fixing it up. My dad was still working full-time, sometimes 6-7 days a week. They just moved back from the west side back in July. Back in 2020, while they were living on the west side, someone broke into their house and shop and stole everything they had, from tools to the stuff they had bought to remodel the house. It was cabinets, toilets, everything.

They are currently living in their fifth wheel while they finish up their home they were supposed to retire in. There is a lot of work to be done in the house that they need help with. If anyone reading this has resources besides donations to help them get the house livable, that would mean more than money to my parents.

We are not sure what the future holds for my dad, if he will be in a wheelchair or back on his feet. I will keep everyone updated on here and thank you.
