Hi, my name is Heather Acevedo, and I created this GoFundMe on behalf of Jerrica Rose, a strong young 36-year-old who is currently battling Stage 2 Breast Cancer. Jerrica was diagnosed in May 2024. She has been an inspiration to everyone who knows her, facing each day with incredible strength and determination while starting her fight against cancer.

As she undergoes intensive chemotherapy treatments, the financial burden of medical bills, prescriptions, and other expenses has become overwhelming. Jerrica is unable to work at the moment, and the added stress of managing these costs is something she should not have to worry about while beating cancer!

We are aiming to raise $10,000 to help cover her medical expenses, daily living costs, and any additional needs that arise during her treatment. Your support will not only provide financial relief but also serve as a powerful reminder that she is not alone in this fight.

Jerrica has already completed her first round of intensive chemo (5 treatments, every other week). Her weekly chemo treatments started on August 30th. She has 12 rounds of weekly treatments, finishing right before Thanksgiving.

We are seeking to raise the $10,000 to help cover the costs of:

• Chemo Sessions: each session involves significant medical cost (even after insurance)

• Medications/Additional Care- medicine to get her body through the treatments, vitamins and holistic products she is trying to help with all the side effects of chemo.

• Cold Capping- to help reduce hair loss during chemo treatments

• Living expenses: To support Jerrica while she is unable to work.
