Hello everybody! My name is Nathaniel Blakey and I decided to create a gofundme to try to help my father, Jerri, out after his triple bypass surgery.

My father, Jerri has been facing newly-discovered cardiovascular issues since Christmas of 2025 when he was struck with a stubborn and almost life-threatening bout of pneumonia which led to a discovery of needing a health-improving procedure with his heart and cardiovascular system. With the very appreciated help and care from the hospital and clinic nursing staff at St. Mary's in Duluth, Minnesota, we now faced with what was to come.

He always works hard and tries his best to help out those who are in need whether they are a stranger or a close friend and as a public transit bus driver transporting the physically and mentally handicapped, elderly, and those who just would like to go to the post office or the bakery. Now with these unexpected medical concerns, he is faced with being unable to work for quite some time while he heals in recovery, thus needing some help.

In recent moments of March 2026, he underwent triple bypass surgery and is now recovering with a new stressor, finances. Struggling to qualify for financial aid, I wanted to help my father by creating this fundraiser to help cover future medical expenses and assist with other costs-of-living while he is recovering back at home in Northwestern Wisconsin.

My father and I have been through struggle through the years past just like anyone else has but I would like to ask for help this one time...
