In memory of Jerrick Smith, who died of cancer on August 27, 2024. We ask for your support for his two daughters, Jerrah and Jerica. Jerrah and Jerica also lost their mom, Molly Cobb on March 3, 2024. This has been a tough year for the girls. Losing two parents in less than 6 months is devastating for anyone; having them lose them at such a young age as they begin college and young adulthood is even more stressful. Jerica is 19 and Jerrah is 18. Jerica was starting college when her mom passed, and now Jerrah is starting college and her dad passed.

When Molly passed, Jerrick got a larger apartment so that they would have their own space. He made sure they were provided for and cared for, although he was struggling with Molly's loss as well. He loved them all so dearly.

Jerrick was diagnosed with cancer a week prior to his death. He thought he would have at least 5-6 months to spend with the girls and make plans, but he died suddenly, and it was heartbreaking for the girls.

I'm asking that we all work together to support them any way we can. As you can imagine, their immediate need is a place to live, help with bills, counseling, and college expenses.

It's hard to imagine the pain they're both dealing with, but the stress of losing both parents and bills they've never had to pay before has added to their agony. No amount is too small, any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
