Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,

Hello, my name is Dan Heselton and I am a family friend of Jerrad Moening.

Jerrad Moening was severely injured in a farming accident on June 22, 2025. He was pinned under a large tractor tire for many minutes. His father, Mike, was able to get the tractor off and help revive him as the paramedics arrived. Through the grace of God and timely miracles, his known injuries are presently limited to numerous broken ribs, crushed hip, spinal fractures, and many pelvic fractures. It is truly remarkable that Jerrad is stable. In the coming days, he will undergo multiple surgeries at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) to repair his injuries and begin his very long road to recovery.

Jerrad and his wife Rebecca have been married for 7 years and have two children, Micah (2) and Josephine (3 months). Please keep them in your prayers as they witnessed the accident and made the 911 call.

Jerrad and the whole Moening family have always been there for others, whether it’s helping stuck drivers in the dead of winter, fixing neighbor’s equipment, or volunteering time and treasure to St. Nicholas Catholic Church or Holy Cross Cathlic School. In the 20 years we have lived near them, they are always the first to lend a helping hand.
