My son, Jeromy Turner, has been skating and snowboarding since he was about three. Now at the age of 32, with the wear and tear, and possible old injury, he no longer has blood flow to his hip joint, resulting in a dead bone. He needs to have a total hip replacement, or eventually, his hip is going to collapse. He continues to work every day in severe pain, because he cannot figure out a way to have the hip surgery and still pay his house bills, medical bills, and food. This is not work related, so he cannot claim workmen's comp. He will need to take time off work to heal and do physical therapy as well. If you are able to help financially to help give him stabilty so he can continue to pay his bills so he will be able to get the surgery he needs and feel secured while he heals and takes care of his body with no worries.
