My name is Jermaine, and I’m starting this fundraiser for myself and my family during a really difficult season. I’m a father of three kids, and my biggest priority is making sure they are safe, cared for, and have what they need. I work hard as a Subway restaurant manager, but right now life has hit us with something bigger than we can handle alone. My Jeep broke down while my spouse was driving home with groceries and the kids, and the transmission went out. It still works in reverse, but it will not go forward, which has left us stranded at home and without reliable transportation.

We tried to find another way and even looked into a title loan, but it wasn’t enough, and the interest would only make our situation worse. Without my Jeep, getting to work, taking care of my children, and keeping up with everyday responsibilities has become so much harder. Uber and Lyft rides get expensive fast, and that is money our family simply cannot keep spending.
