Help Jeric Bake Dreams on Lopez Island
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
Exciting news! Jeric has been offered the incredible opportunity to be the Pastry Chef at Holly B’s Bakery on Lopez Island! After spending over two decades in Seattle, we’re taking this leap together—leaving the city to embrace island life, where Jeric can continue his passion for baking while I (Robinick) pivot into building my own creative practice and shop.
Why This Move Means So Much
This opportunity is more than just a job—it’s about community, legacy, and growth. Holly B’s Bakery has been a cherished part of Lopez Island since 1976, serving residents and visitors alike with delicious baked goods. Now, Jeric will play a key role in continuing this legacy, crafting pastries that bring people together.
For me, this move means stepping away from corporate life and focusing on my own interior and art practice, designing for the local community and eventually opening a shop. We are embracing a new chapter of creativity, craftsmanship, and connection.
How You Can Help
Moving to an island comes with significant costs—multiple ferry rides, a moving truck, and housing deposits—all of which add up quickly. While we are confident we can sustain ourselves once we’re settled, we need help with the initial costs to make this transition possible.
We are hoping to raise $5,000 to cover:
✅ Moving expenses (truck rental, ferry costs)
✅ First month’s rent & deposit
✅ Travel & emergency cushion
✅ Support for building our new life and creative ventures
The Impact of Your Support
Your generosity will help us secure our new home and get settled so that:
✨ Jeric can bring his artistry to Lopez Island, enriching the bakery and the community.
✨ I can focus on growing my own business and designing for the local landscape.
✨ We can continue our shared vision of building something meaningful and inspiring others to take bold leaps toward their dreams.
A Heartfelt Thank You
For the past two decades, our Seattle family has supported us—from our early days as artists and food lovers to running a pop-up gallery on Capitol Hill, and hosting art and design events. Your support now means that we can continue this journey of creativity, connection, and community.
Every contribution—no matter the amount—makes a difference. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, encouragement, and belief in our dreams.
Ways We’ll Show Our Gratitude (Gifts will be sent a couple of months after we settle in!):
A handcrafted loaf of artisanal bread baked by Jeric (for local supporters)
A custom printed tote bag inspired by our new adventure
A small framed artwork created by Robinick as a token of appreciation
Updates & photos to share our journey with you
Note: Please let us know which gift you would like:)
If you can’t donate, sharing this page with others would mean the world to us!
