Help Jeremy Wright's Family Through Tough Times

Hey everybody, Jeremy Wright here. All of you who have been my Facebook friends for a while have seen hard times have hit my family due to my series of injuries and surgeries. To explain a tiny bit, over the last 2.5 years I’ve had 6 surgical procedures performed during 4 surgeries. A couple of really substantial surgeries including having 4 cervical vertebrae fusion, severe stenosis/spondylosis and neuropathy repair. This started a 12-18 month recovery period, and I am being medically retired from my 28 year career with AT&T. AT&T has been amazing providing me with short term disability benefits and in January 2025 a nice severance package is coming. The problem has been with the benefits coordination company AT&T uses. They have consistently not paid me for weeks at a time. I didn’t receive 8 weeks of pay, then another time missed 6 weeks, then twice more missed 2 checks. And other checks have been short several hundred dollars. While I recovered most of the back pay (not all) the bills and rent kept coming. This relentless stress decimated my savings, ruined my credit, destroyed my 401k, put me so far behind on everything, and has directly contributed to the separation of my family. I have more than stretched the generosity of my amazing landlord to the breaking point. I am so very close to being rescued financially, but I have simply run out of options for this last month of rent, and a nice thanksgiving meal for my family. Even though separation has come, those 2 boys silver lab and my incredible wife deserve to have a good meal and not have to worry about being evicted right before the severance package comes and sets it all straight. I have managed to pay all of the utilities and insurance, and basic groceries. I just fell short on the rent and thanksgiving. My landlord has been so supportive and accommodating but I’ve already used up the extension for this month. And they have given me extensions on several months previously. I am asking for anything you feel compelled to donate. I am $1000 short on rent, and I’m certain $100 would more than cover a big thanksgiving dinner for 5 people. I fully believe God is going to provide for us, as He’s always done. And honestly I feel so ashamed for having to ask anything of anyone. Yet here I am. If it were for me alone, I wouldn’t dare. But my boys and wife are collateral damage and they deserve better. Thank you for reading this. Thank you for even considering to donate. I fully realize it’s hard on everyone during these times and especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’m just really desperate to make this final end meet. Thank you.
