Hello, my name is Yvette. I'm Jeremy's cousin. On Thursday November 17th Jeremy was experiencing pressure on his chest, and having a hard time breathing. His wife Casey took him to Spectrum hospital in Ludington. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and covid. After a 8 day stay in Ludington hospital, Jeremy was not getting any better. On Thanksgiving day, while most of us were spending the holiday with our families, Jeremy was transfered to Blodgett hospital, in Grand Rapids Michigan.

His wife Casey has been by Jeremy's side since the 17th. Due to covid restrictions, Casey is the only person allowed to be with her husband. Jeremy and Casey have 7 children, who miss their parents dearly. Casey is also struggling with the fact she can't be around them as well. However, at this point it is absolutely vital for Casey to be there with Jeremy not only to receive updates from doctors, but also as his wife to love and support him.

Jeremy is still at Blodgett hospital, in the ICU where he is still battling covid, the covid caused a secondary infection. Unfortunately Jeremy has developed a staff infection in his lungs, along with pneumonia. He is currently on a ventilator to help him breathe, and has a feeding tube in.

Unfortunately Casey has not been able to work since the 17th of November. There is no telling how long Jeremy's road to recovery will take. Although we are all praying for a fast one.... Casey and Jeremy's bills have already began to pile up. With it being the Holidays and having several children at home, we all know it can be very tough! Especially not knowing when either one will be able to return to work. As of now, if we could all come together to give Casey and her family a little piece of mind, and take a little stress off her, it would be greatly appreciated. I know a lot of us tend to struggle with the holidays approaching... but any amount will help tremendously. Even just sharing this post.. The holidays are a time for family to be together and to be happy. Not to be worrying about household bills, hospital bills, and all other unexpected expenses. Casey only leaves Jeremy's side, to check on her children, and goes right back to GR. That's a 4 hour round trip, so gas cards or anything would help! Please everyone pray for Jeremy to beat this! The best Christmas present for our family this year, would be to have Jeremy back home with our family.. Thank you all and God bless!
