One week ago, I returned from a two-week trip through Europe—an experience that expanded my perspective creatively and culturally. On the final days of that trip, after a long travel day, I lost a backpack containing the core tools I rely on for my work. Inside were essential pieces of my practice: my camera for documenting stories and projects, action camera equipment for content creation, a watch and personal items tied to my daily rhythm, and most importantly, a leather jewelry bag containing handcrafted pieces. I’ve filed reports and followed up with transit authorities, and I’m still holding onto hope—but I also need to keep moving forward.
As a creative director, artist, and community collaborator, these tools aren’t just equipment—they’re how I show up for my work, my family, and the communities I’m part of. If you’ve ever connected with my work, supported a project, or believe in what I’m building, I’d be grateful for any support as I work to replace these essential tools and continue creating. Every contribution helps me get back to doing what I do best. Thank you for being part of the journey.
