My name is Jeremy Dorris, and I’m 33 years old. Until recently, I was working hard at my landscaping job, building a life I was proud of. Everything changed in an instant when I was riding my e-scooter and tried to let an impatient car pass. As I moved over, I hit the edge of the grass and road, lost control, and crashed. The car behind me kept going, watching everything, and I was left alone, injured and in pain. I had to crawl to find my phone, feeling my bones rolling in my leg, and I knew something was very wrong. I tried shining a light to get help, and after five long minutes, a kind stranger stopped, called for medics, and stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. I truly believe he was a blessing, and I hope to thank him when I’m out of the hospital, because without his help, things could have been much worse.
I’ve now been in the hospital for a week, recovering from surgery for a broken tibia, fibula, and ankle. The doctors say I can’t put any pressure on my leg or foot for at least eight weeks. I don’t have health insurance or any job benefits, and my bills are piling up—rent, car payments, and daily expenses. I’ve worked in landscaping for eight years, and it’s devastating to think I could lose everything I’ve worked for. I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help, but I’m facing the possibility of losing my home and everything I’ve built. I’m doing everything I can to get assistance, but it’s not easy, and I’m running out of options.
If you’re able to help, even a little, it would mean the world to me. Your support will help me keep my home, cover my medical bills, and stay with my family while I recover. I promise to pay it forward and pray for blessings for everyone who helps me. It takes a world of good people to help each other, and I’m so grateful for any kindness you can share. Thank you for helping me hold onto hope and for being my miracle in this difficult time. Please share and I need help paying my hospital bill and rent and my utility bills because I'm outta work for 8 weeks and no pressure applied to my right foot. I don't have help out there I only have my grandma and momma left and wife and child. So I'm stressing about it all. I have to come up with 4k a month just for my medical bill it's 107k and thats a lot but everything helps and I'll appreciate that from anybody with help knowledge and wisdom. It's a long recovery for me and I'll keep you all updated. Thanks God Bless
