Help Jeremy McAlary in His Fight Against Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer
We’re reaching out to you today with heavy hearts, my stepdad Jeremy has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This shocking and devastating news has turned our world upside down, but we are holding onto hope as he begins this difficult battle.
Jeremy and my mom, Cris, were high school sweethearts who lost contact for over 20 years. They reconnected, and their love story picked up right where it left off. They have been married for nearly 17 years, they've built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and memories that have carried them through thick and thin.
Unfortunately, Jeremy's prognosis is dire, he will be starting chemo in the next couple weeks to hopefully help shrink the tumors enough to where he can be more comfortable. Doctors have given him a prognosis of 1-2 years left with us, and while we are hoping for a miracle, we know the reality of what lies ahead.. As his condition progresses, we are already beginning to face the extreme emotional and financial burdens of treatment, care, and ultimately, the grief that will follow.
We’re asking for your support to help alleviate the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time, as Jeremy is no longer able to work. The added pressure on my mom to manage household bills, care for Jeremy, and navigate the emotional weight of what’s to come—while also beginning the process of grieving—is overwhelming. The funds raised will go towards household expenses, medical treatments, medications, and eventual funeral arrangements. Your generosity will allow our family to focus on cherishing the time we have left with Jeremy, without the constant worry of financial stress.
Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference and will help us navigate this heartbreaking journey. If you can’t contribute financially, please consider sharing this page with your friends and family to help spread the word. Your love and support mean the world to us.
Thank you for being a part of our story and for walking beside us during this incredibly difficult time.
