Help Jeremy and Carley Through Tough Times
Donation protected
On Thursday, August 15, our dear friend’s son in law was at work helping to clear a site, when he noticed a log rolling. Within seconds, adrenaline kicked in and in an attempt to save those that might be downhill, he jumped off of his tractor and attempted to stop the log. The injuries he sustained from this heroic act left him with severe injuries and in need of a life flight to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. He suffered two brain bleeds, a nicked carotid artery which caused bleeding from his ears, a fractured skull, air on the brain and multiple facial fractures. He spent several days in the ICU before moving to a general floor. He is currently at home resting and faces a long road to recovery.
Jeremy completed four years active duty in the Army last November and is currently in the NC National Guard.
Jeremy and his wife have a one year old daughter together. Working for an excavation company has allowed him to support his family while his wife is a stay-at-home mom.
This accident will leave Jeremy and Carley with limited income for months and much difficulty to pay their mortgage and afford day to day necessities, like utilities, food and gas.
Fellow family and friends, let’s come together to help Jeremy and Carley during this difficult time for their young family. I know personally any generosity extended to them will be forever appreciated.
