On Saturday, December 13th, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy.

My 16-year-old nephew, Jeremiah, was shot in the neck while visiting his girlfriend’s home in Gilbert. He is currently in the ICU in critical condition. Jeremiah is the most caring, good mannered, funny, and intelligent boy. He’s an awesome brother, son, grandson, nephew and friend. He cares so much about others and deserves our love and care now.

The bullet struck his spinal cord and caused severe damage, and at this time, his prognosis is uncertain. Jeremiah’s dad (my brother) and our family are facing overwhelming medical expenses for his care in the hospital and the long road ahead. In the worst-case scenario, we may also need support with funeral expenses.
