My name is Jeremiah, and I am an independent young Black queer artist specializing in beauty. I have always believed in the power of art to uplift, inspire, and bring light to others. Unfortunately, I have been displaced to a town where my work and identity are not valued or respected. The environment here is stifling, and my business cannot grow because there is little demand for the services I provide and little appreciation for artists who genuinely want to make a positive impact. It has been incredibly isolating, and I am struggling to find the support I need to thrive both personally and professionally.

I am asking for your help so I can relocate to a safer, more welcoming place where my business can flourish and I can continue to grow as an artist and light-worker. The funds will help cover moving expenses, apartment fees, and the costs associated with starting over in a new city. Additionally, your support will allow me to pay off the student loans I accrued while finishing cosmetology school, as well as settle the debt I took on after losing my car—something I had to give up because I couldn’t afford school, housing, and car payments all on my own.

Beyond my immediate needs, I have big dreams for the future. I want to create charities and foundations that support young talent who have been dealt a heavy hand in life and just need someone to care enough to help. I know what it’s like to be emotionally and physically abused, to feel invisible and rejected, and to believe your dreams and voice don’t matter. My goal is to use my success, skills, and talents to help heal humanity and illuminate the darkness in the world. I want to provide free housing and therapy for kids who have been abandoned or abused, and offer free therapy for all children and young talent struggling to be themselves and love themselves.
