My name is Jeremiah Jones, and I am 19 years old. In October 2023, during my senior year of high school, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma, an extremely rare and aggressive bone cancer that started in my spine and spread to my chest, jaw, and hip. What began as severe back pain, numbness in my legs, and difficulty walking quickly became a life-changing battle. Since then, I have gone through multiple spinal surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and extensive rehabilitation. After one surgery, I became paralyzed and was told I had only a small chance of walking again, but through faith, determination, and countless hours of physical and occupational therapy, I am learning to walk again. Even in the middle of treatment, I was proud to graduate from Heritage High School in June 2024.
In February 2025, I learned that my cancer had relapsed and spread despite 14 cycles of chemotherapy. My doctors have told me I will need lifelong treatment, including chemotherapy, radiation, rehabilitation, and possible future surgeries. Because this cancer is so rare, there are no standard treatment options or clinical trials available to me right now. I am asking for help to ease the ongoing financial burden on my family as we try to keep up with bills, medical expenses, and treatment costs that continue over time. Recurring donations would give us steady, predictable support as these needs continue month after month, and one-time donations would also mean so much. Every donation and every share helps me continue this fight while also raising awareness for this devastating disease. Thank you for supporting my journey and helping me keep fighting.
