hiiii I'm Jordan! Asking for help is hard but here I am taking the leap and asking for support from my loved ones and community to move to Illinois. I've lived in Seattle my whole life and it's become more and more apparent that I can't afford to live comfortably in the city I grew up in anymore... this week I got news from my employers that the bakery I work at won't be renewing their lease at the end of September due to Covid-19. The circumstances of my living situation are also pushing me to relocate so I can prioritize my mental health and boundaries. Chicago has been a dream of mine that I've wanted to work up to for awhile now, and losing my job feels like a sign now more than ever. Chicago has more accessible living costs, a wonderful transportation system, and more culinary opportunities for me to explore. 
The money I'm raising is to be put Towards First and Last months rent, a safety deposit, Transportation  for myself, my gecko and my belongings, and various start up needs for moving to a new city.
