Hi! My name is Codi Lanclos and I am fundraising for my brother and sister in law, Jodi and Lindsay Lanclos. They are going through an incredibly difficult time as their little boy Jensen (who has Down Syndrome and a congenital heart condition) is currently fighting a severe RSV infection at Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans, LA. They are 6 hours away from their other 2 children who are staying with their Mimi and Papaw.

On Monday, October 9th, 2023, Jensen was admitted to the ICU at his local hospital due to concerning respiratory symptoms, including labored breathing and low oxygen saturation. He was diagnosed with RSV and received treatment there until Thursday, October 12, when he was life flighted 6 hours away to Ochsner Hospital for Children for more intense care. Currently, Jensen is on an intrapulmonary percussive ventilator and receiving treatments to try to help him fight this infection and the severe complications it is causing. There is potential that Jensen will soon need to be placed on ECMO to give his heart and lungs a chance to heal.
