In December of last year, my uncle was forced to close his mechanic shop because of the severe ice movement here in Minnesota. Since then, my family of six has been struggling to make ends meet. We have fallen behind on rent for four months, and it has become increasingly difficult to pay our bills or purchase enough groceries for everyone—including our two dogs, a cat, and two Quaker parrots. These past months have been incredibly stressful, and we are doing everything we can to keep our home and care for our pets, but the challenges keep adding up.

I know these are hard times for so many families across the Twin Cities, and it’s not easy to ask for help. But right now, we need support to get through this difficult period. The funds raised will go directly toward paying our overdue rent, covering essential bills, and making sure we have enough food for our family and pets.
