Hi Dog People and Friends/Family of Jenny,

Boone managed to impale himself through the underside of his tongue with a stick. It went roughly six inches into his neck through his throat entering underneath his tongue. Boone as been to 3 emergency hospitals so far who are desperately trying to save him. He has a minor fracture in his neck, but the stick seems to have missed his trachea, esophagus, and major arteries. He had to be intubated due to extreme swelling that was inhibiting his ability to breath, and is currently undergoing surgery to see if the damage can be repaired. The hope is to have the dog stabilized and extubated asap. The intubation, surgery, and possibility of a trachea tap being needed still exists, and the bills are piling up quickly for Jenny and her family. Anything you can spare helps immensely. I will post medical bills and updates as they come through.
