Hi, my name is Rosana Cainglet, and I'm creating this GoFundMe for my beloved niece, Jennylyn Custodio - affectionately known to us as Jhen.
On Saturday, October 4th, Jhen was rushed to a hospital in the Philippines after experiencing a sudden, severe headache and losing the ability to lift her left hand and left leg. At the first hospital she was brought to, she stayed in the ER for 12 hours and underwent a CT scan. The results showed a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). However, due to the lack of available ward space, she had to be transferred.
She was then taken to a second hospital, where she was admitted to the ER and the doctor repeated the CT scan to confirm the findings. Since the facility didn't have the working equipment for a CT angiogram, Jhen had to travel back and forth to another hospital just to complete the exam. The CT angiogram revealed a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately, the second hospital couldn't perform the coiling procedure needed to treat it, so another transfer was necessary.
She was moved to a third hospital, but once again, no one there could perform the coiling procedure. During this time, Jhen's condition worsened - she suffered a stroke that left the left side of her body numb, her mouth crooked, and caused uncontrollable drooling. She also experienced vomiting and a seizure while waiting for the procedure.
Finally, at the fourth hospital, Jhen was able to undergo the coiling procedure, specifically endovascular coiling, on Monday, October 13th - and by the grace of God, the surgery was successful.
We're incredibly grateful for God's divine intervention and providing her with strength and the care she's received so far, but the journey ahead is long and financially challenging. Any support you can offer - whether through donations or simply sharing this story and praying for her complete healing and recovery - would mean the world to our family.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. May God bless you all!
