Hello,

Jenny suddenly woke up the other day unable to use her back legs or stand. I took her to the vet and got X-rays and she has IVDD. This is also known as a slipped disc. The cushion between the vertebrae ruptured and is pressing on her spinal cord. She is rapidly getting worse and has a very short window to receive surgery from Cornell estimated at $10k or she will become paralyzed.

Jenny is scheduled for a MRI and surgery Tuesday!

On Tuesday Jenny went in and got her MRI it turns out it is not ivdd it is a spinal infection. They had to operate and remove heavily infected fat that lodged her spine out of place and fuse it back together. We are at $11,200. She currently is very lethargic and sleeping a lot but doing okay and home. We have a follow up appointment in two weeks.
