My name is Negin, and I’m fundraising to save my mother’s dream — and our home.

My mom, Jenny, is a Chinese immigrant and single mom who worked three jobs for years to support our family. After decades of sacrifice, she finally opened her dream Chinese restaurant in Salt Lake City, pouring everything she had into it.

But after a year filled with delays, equipment issues, and broken business partnerships, she’s now running the entire restaurant alone — cooking, cleaning, accounting, advertising — all of it.

Despite her unbelievable strength and work ethic, we are out of time.

We will soon lose both the restaurant and our family home, and be in a difficult situation where we have no more source of income. 

This is the first time in my life my mom has ever asked for help. She said, “Negin, I don’t know how I can keep going anymore.”

Right now, I feel like I’m losing my mom. I don’t care about the restaurant or the house as much as I miss her smile, her laughter, and just being able to sit with her.

I want her to finally enjoy life after giving so much to all of us. She deserves so much happiness.
