Help Jenny Save a Rescued Dog's Life

Hi, my name is Jenny and I’m fundraising to help cover the emergency medical costs for a sweet dog we rescued yesterday after he wandered into our neighborhood. He had no collar or microchip and appears to have been abandoned, but even in his discomfort, he’s been incredibly loving and gentle.

After rushing him to Paw Center Veterinary, we learned he has a large perianal hernia that is preventing him from having a bowel movement. He’s undergoing urgent surgery today, which includes:

A clopexy (to secure the colon),

Hernia repair, and

Neutering — all in one procedure.

The total cost is $3,500. Thanks to the kindness of friends and animal lovers, we’ve already raised $1,450 through Venmo (including $500 of my own contribution). We’re now aiming to raise the remaining $2,050 here on GoFundMe to fully cover his surgery.

Every little bit helps, and anything raised beyond the cost of surgery will go directly toward his post-op care and recovery.
