I recently spilled tea on my Casio keyboard during a Twitch stream and while it was getting fixed I had the opportunity to borrow my friend's Nord piano. I FELL IN LOVE. The sounds were immaculate and it was inspiring just to play it. My main reasoning for putting a goal up like this is that I will be able to play this piano on live Twitch streams, record with it, write with it and most importantly, use it for live shows. When I played my friend's piano, it was quite nostalgic for me because one of the settings sounded just like my late grandfather's upright piano I began exploring on at an early age.

I am currently looking at the "Nord Piano 5 88-key Stage Piano

88-key Stage/Studio Digital Piano/Synth with Virtual Hammer Action Weighted Keybed, Triple Pedal, and Onboard Effects." This one is a little heavier than the one I have, but I would most likely get a carrying case for it which would make things easier. The sounds it can produce makes the little extra weight extremely worth it XD.

The reason the price is set for $3,000 instead of what it sells for online ($3,499) is because I believe I will be able to get $500 from selling my current keyboard (now that it is fixed from the tea lol). You may also wonder why I don't just do a twitch donation goal for this. This is because any funds I earn from stream go directly into making and releasing new music. With a potentially long term goal like this, I wouldn't be able to fund my releases until the piano goal is met. So I chose a platform like Go Fund Me because it has the lowest fees I could find out of the popular fundraising sites.

This was not a goal I was expecting to make this year, but if I didn't truly believe it could impact my music in such a big way I would not be pursuing it.
