Help Jenny paralysed from the neck down after an accident
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tina Fletcher and I am fundraising for my sister Jenny Cassan.
What Happened?
A year ago today Jenny had a catastrophic riding accident which has left her paralysed from the neck down.
She has spent many months in intensive care at both Oxford and Reading hospitals before recently being transferred to the Spinal Unit at Stoke Mandeville.
About Jenny
Jenny was a successful International Showjumper, Event rider and Amateur jockey, constantly outdoors looking after horses and dogs.
She is the kindest person I know, always helping other people. This included driving her horsebox down with critical medical supplies to the Bosnian war, and more recently twice to the Ukraine war.
She has an incredible spirit and determination and never complains, in spite of everything.
Why are we asking for help?
She is determined to be able to come home and lead as full a life as possible and for that she needs your help.
Obviously she will require 24 hr care for the rest of her life, but she needs help to adapt the house and to get around, for which she will need a lot of specialised expensive equipment.
We are setting up a GoFundMe page for her with the aim to raise £50000 to help her achieve this.
Anything that we can raise will be so appreciated and make such a difference to her life. Please could you share the link to this page so it gets out to as many people as possible. Thank you very much for your very kind and generous support.
