Help Jenny Fight for Her Life & Support Her Son Jayden
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
Our dear friend Jenny was rushed to the hospital on June 19th after a sudden and terrifying medical emergency. Initially diagnosed with kidney failure, she was airlifted from her home in the San Juan Islands to a hospital in Bellingham. Once there, doctors discovered a severe infection in her leg. What started as a bruise quickly turned into something much more dangerous.
A small incision revealed the unimaginable—there was no blood flow, only dead tissue. Jenny was rushed into surgery immediately. Over the course of three intense operations, surgeons worked tirelessly to remove the dead tissue and try to save her leg. She is now left with no skin on her leg—only exposed muscle and bone—and has been on life support medications.
Doctors gave her a slim chance of survival, but Jenny is a fighter. Today, we received a glimmer of hope—Jenny is out of her coma. Tomorrow, her son Jayden and her ex-husband Jamie will be visiting her in the hospital. We are clinging to hope, faith, and the strength Jenny has always shown.
Even in the best-case scenario, she will likely lose her leg and require long-term rehab. She may not be able to return home to the island for a year or more.
Jamie is planning to move into her home to care for Jayden full time. But medical bills are already mounting, and with Jenny unable to work, there's no income to cover her mortgage or basic living expenses during this long road ahead.
Her family is humbly asking for your support to help with:
* Medical bills
* Mortgage payments
* Travel and living expenses for her family
* Long-term rehabilitation if she pulls through
No amount is too small. Every donation will go directly to help Jenny and Jayden during this incredibly difficult time. Please share this with anyone who may want to help.
If you’d like to reach out personally, you can contact Jamie at (360) [phone redacted].
With love and gratitude,
Friends & Family of Jenny
