Help Jenny (Gjena) Continue Her Fight Against Cancer

On December 23rd, 2025, my grandma, Jenny, underwent surgery as part of her battle against cancer. We believed it was a critical step toward healing. Instead, the months since have been filled with complications, fear, and unimaginable physical decline.

Following surgery, she endured intensive treatments, including chemotherapy. While we were prepared for side effects, we were not prepared for what followed. Over the past two months, Jennyhas lost nearly 60 pounds. She has made five emergency room visits in just six weeks due to severe dehydration, infection, and weakness. Each time, it has been emergency fluids and antibiotics that stabilized her and quite literally kept her alive.

At her most recent visit, we were sent home without answers, without a real plan, and without the support she desperately needs. No one should ever feel dismissed when they are fighting to survive.

We are seeking funds so she can pursue integrative and specialized care — doctors who will listen closely, investigate thoroughly, and treat her as a whole person. She needs comprehensive nutritional support, second and third opinions, and access to clinical trials or innovative therapies that may offer hope when conventional approaches have failed her.

Anyone who knows Jenny knows she is strong, generous, and fiercely independent. She has built meaningful relationships throughout her life and career and has always shown up for others. Now, she needs us to show up for her.

The financial burden of seeking alternative consultations, specialized treatments, travel, and supportive care is overwhelming. Insurance does not cover most of these potentially life-saving options. But we are not ready to give up. Not even close.
