Struggling Single Mom of 2 Please Help Us Get to California & Support My Mom’s Surgery

Story:

Hi, my name is Jennifer. I’m a single mother of two beautiful children, and right now, I’m going through one of the hardest moments of my life. I’m reaching out with a heart full of hope and a prayer for help.

We are currently in Minnesota and trying to make our way to Anaheim, California, where I’ll be closer to family, job opportunities, and most importantly—my mom, who is preparing for surgery and needs support during her recovery. She’s all I have left, and I can’t bear the thought of not being there for her during this time.

I’ve been trying my best to stay strong for my children, but times are extremely hard. Between the cost of travel, food, gas, temporary shelter, and helping my mom with her upcoming medical expenses, I feel overwhelmed. I’ve put what I could together, but it’s just not enough.

Every dollar will go directly toward:

• Travel costs (gas, food, safe lodging) from Minnesota to California

• Medical support and supplies for my mom’s surgery

• Immediate essentials for my kids during this transition
