HELP JENNIFER WHILE SHE HEALS FROM SURGERY

My name is Debbie and I am fundraising for my daughter Jennifer. In April of this year Jennifer found out that she had a tumor-like growth ( meningioma ) growing behind her eye for many years. The tumor grew into her skull bone and into one of the major blood vessels in her brain. On June 23rd she had to undergo major brain surgery to remove the tumor from her brain and replace the skull bone that the tumor grew into with an implant ( a Right Orbital Zygomatic Craniotomy for Resection with Custom Medpor Cranioplasty ). With the prayers, love and support of many, her surgery was successful. Jennifer was released from the hospital on June 25th and continues to heal in the comfort of her home. On July 6th Jennifer had her first appointment after surgery with Dr. Ray her neurosurgeon. During this appointment Dr. Ray told us that he was only able to remove 95% of the tumor surrounding the major blood vessel it was intertwined in. Therefore, she will have to go through radiation treatments to prevent it from growing back and potentially removing the rest of the tumor all together. She will see the Radiologist Specialist on August 2nd to find out more details. Everyday is a challenge for her, the pain is starting to come on stronger. Her nerves are starting to re-connect and the numbness is starting to wear off in some areas. She has a positive attitude and continues to stay strong in her healing process. Unfortunately, she is unable to work during this time and is in need of some help to pay her monthly living expenses. It is uncertain when she will be able to get back to work, but we have an estimated time of 4 more months for her recovery.
